Gosh, I just got done having a 5 hour long religious debate. How fun! Mind you, the people I was talking with were drunk, so they had difficulty following one train of thought for too long, but things will get better.

On of my mother's friends who is a Roman Catholic is going to come over and debate more often, and he is going to help me read Matthew, which is some version of the bible I think? In tern I have to do my best to explain the origin of the universe, evolution, and for some reason Islam.

The explanation I'm going with for the origin of the universe is the big bang, solely because that is what is most widely accepted, not because that is necessarily what I believe. For evolution I am using Darwinian evolution by natural selection, because I am a Dawkins fag. XD

As for Islam, I plan to start out with the five pillars of Islam, touch on some holidays, maybe the mecca thing, and then try to move into what their scripture really says. Any information about this would be appreciated because I have not read the Koran, and I don't consider myself a theologian by any extent or stretch of the imagination.


As for arguing my points, he wants me to justify abortion(Which stemmed from a debate about Obama) and explain where morality comes from if it does not come from god. I also plan on explaining why faith is not a good reason to believe anything and how you can be spiritual without religion (I'll probably make some astronomy references, yay Carl Sagan)I'm also going to have to refute Pascal's Wager again, because he didn't seem to get it the first time. DX

Well today I went clothes shopping,and I got some new things to wear. ^^ Getting my hair cut and dyed after much bitching to my mom. What should I do with it?

I found out that I've lost 10 pounds somehow in the past month, which honestly makes no sense because I've been as lazy as ever.


Tomorrow is 's birthday so happy birthday to her. (I've got a picture in the works but it sucks. Ah, maybe I can do a refrence for Grudge or something. If you want.)


Also fuck my old journal css, it was really, really confusing. Hello boring default journal. Well, my subbie is about to run out anyways so get used to it you queers.
